Partner / Senior Advisor

For 20 years, I have worked with the Legacy family and community to grow as a person and as a professional so I can better serve my clients. As a Partner and Senior Advisor, my purpose is to help family businesses build value and prepare for future transition to the next generation or external buyers.

The Business Owner Advisor Services group, designed by Legacy’s team of professionals, uses a four-step, personalized approach that focuses on helping owners of privately held and family-owned companies navigate the ever-changing landscape of business today.

After graduating from Lafayette College with a degree in Economics and Business, I began my career at Legacy Planning. I am sincerely appreciative for the 20 years of mentorship provided by Legacy’s CEO, Jan Graybill, and strive to pay that generosity forward as a mentor to the Legacy team and through non-profit organizations like Men of Iron: a mentorship program designed to help men in their daily walk (Faith, Family, Fitness, Finance, and Friends).

I am also grateful for Legacy’s partnership with our business associate and friend, Tom Garrity.

What Inspires you?

“In January 2020 I had the opportunity to serve on a medical mission trip through Global Health Outreach (GHO) in San Miguel, El Salvador.  Over the course of the week our missions team served over 1,600 people.  Our team provided dental, optometry, orthopedic, pharmacy and general medical care.  Some residents walked over 2 hours to experience American medicine, it was quite overwhelming.  I expected to give and serve, however what I took home was more than I could give.  We served people who had very little resources, but exuded joy, gratefulness, and love. That experience inspires me to serve my clients, colleagues, friends and family with gratefulness, humility, and love.  I am hopeful to serve on a missions trip again!

My wife Christina and I live in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania with our four children. We are active members in our church, Community Evangelical, and are advocates for mentorship and walking alongside others. We enjoy spending time with our extended family and friends, hunting, fishing, and taking family trips to the mountains and the beach.
