The Unseen Danger After Every Deposit

In your path to financial stability, vigilance is key.

But you might not be aware of a tactic called “Bank Jugging,” where criminals target individuals AFTER banking transactions.1

Using this method, predators meticulously monitor and follow their victims, posing a serious threat to both finances and peace of mind.

They’ll stalk their victims, ensure the person has a significant amount of money, and then act out their premeditated plan.

That means every time you’re at the bank, a parking lot, or an ATM, there could be someone watching your every move, looking at your car make and model, and sizing up your attire to see if there’s potential for a big reward.

And if you’re carrying bank envelopes or cash bags, the risk is higher.

They even look at your body language and facial expressions to see if you might have made a substantial withdrawal.

If they sense a probable score, they won’t hesitate to follow you to your next destination and wait for the right moment to strike. And even worse than losing hundreds if not thousands of dollars in a few seconds, is the trauma of being the target.

So why am I telling you about the higher incidence of theft at banks and ATMs?

First, to bring awareness and help you stay safe. But second, as a reason to point out some of the other (and much more covert) ways you could lose your hard-earned cash.

When doing any financial task, do you always have a full grasp of regulations, “dos and don’ts,” and recent updates?  If not, you could be left vulnerable to unnecessary money loss and even scams.

Here are some examples of where I can help:

  • Factoring in tax implications with your financial goals
  • Navigating interest and mortgage rates
  • Planning for retirement
  • Consolidating debt

Whether it’s walking to your car or choosing an IRA type, my goal is to help you keep, build upon, and enjoy your wealth.
